I have been teaching young graphic and web designers how to
best present their work online at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Since I started teaching five years ago, I had the pleasure to
work with an amazing group of people,
talented, smart and most importantly, very inspiring.

Spring 2009
In this assignment the students had to write down as quickly as possible as many tasks as they could think of
that are involved in creating an online design portfolio. By putting the words onto the walls the group had
a chance to organize and evaluate the process. The combination of individual and team work brought very interesting
results. One of the findings was that all the teams valued down-time as much as time doing actual work.
